Make your own Connections grouping puzzle cache with a sharable play link.
Connections is a grouping puzzle. You pick four categories, each with four words, and a player sees all 16 words shuffled together. They sort them back into your four groups, four words at a time. Solving all four reveals your final coordinates or keyword. The groups and the final answer stay on the server, checked guess by guess, so nothing is hidden in the page for a player to peek at.

The four groups
Each group needs a category name and four words. All 16 words must be different. Order the groups from easiest (yellow) to hardest (purple), that is the colour players see as they solve.
Tip: a good puzzle has one clean solution. Overlap words (a "red herring" that could fit two groups) make it harder, but avoid two words that could simply swap between groups, that creates a second valid solution.
Difficulty
Wrong guesses before the round ends (3 to 8). They can play again, the groups stay the same.
On solve, reveal
Shown only after a player solves all four groups. Reveal either the final coordinates or a keyword, not both.

Paste a direct https:// link to an image. Free image hosts that give a direct link include
ImgBB,
postimages.org, and
Cloudinary.
A geocaching.com image link works too. The link must start with https://.
