Wherigo Test Cartridge
Build a multi stage .gwc test cartridge on your own streets.
This makes a throwaway Wherigo cartridge for testing the player, not a geocache. Put in coordinates near you, or drag the numbered pins on the map, and you get a real .gwc that walks you through several stages. One stage plays a clip that says its answer out loud, so you can check that sound works on the device in your hand.
Pick spots you can actually walk between, about 50 to 150 metres apart. Coordinates can be decimal degrees or degrees and decimal minutes, for example 40.689247, -74.044502 or N 40 41.355 W 074 02.670.
Go large if the GPS on the test device wanders, small to make the player work for it.
Where the stages are
Drag a numbered pin on the map to move that stage, or click Set on map and then click where you want it.
Map
Building sends the cartridge source to the CacheSleuth compile service and sends the finished .gwc straight back to your browser. Nothing is stored and nothing is published, so give the file to your testers yourself.
What this walk asks the player to do
Every walk ends with a code to write down, so a tester can prove they got to the last stage.
