Settings that look fair in this form can be brutal, or trivial, in the field. Finish the game yourself, start to end, on the kind of device your finders will use, and check that the difficulty, timers, hints, wording, and the final reveal all behave the way you intended. Every cache you create here comes with a play link and an edit link, so you can test it, tune it, and test it again before anyone else sees it.
Flip Knife is a one-button arcade game. A knife flies forward at a steady speed, seen from the side, and there is one control: tap anywhere. Every tap throws the knife upward and sets it spinning, and gravity brings it back down. Time the taps and it clears the gaps between the platforms, flips through the soft props to slice them, and vaults the pillars. A run is a sequence of levels, and each one ends at a finish board painted with scoring zones. Whichever zone the knife lands in multiplies everything it sliced that level into the run's score. Get it wrong before then and it lands on a spike or drops into a pit, and the run is over with a brand new course waiting for the next try. Clearing your level goal, and any score goal you set, reveals the final coordinates or keyword.

Game settings
How many finish boards a player has to land on before the reveal unlocks. 1 to 12. Every level is longer and meaner than the last, there is no timer and no limit on attempts, and every attempt is a brand new course.
Leave this at 0 for a pure levels cache. Any higher and players must also bank that much total score across their levels. Each finish board multiplies what was sliced during that level by the zone the knife lands in, half to triple, sometimes zero, sometimes a flat bonus, so this asks them to slice well and land well rather than just survive.
The ramp sets how long the platforms are, how wide the gaps are, how often a spike or a pillar turns up, and how fast the knife flies. The platforms shorten and the gaps widen as the run goes on, so even the gentle setting gets harder the further a player gets.
On solve, reveal
Shown only after a player meets your goals. Reveal either the final coordinates or a keyword, not both.
Where can I host an image for free?
Paste a direct https:// link to an image. Free image hosts that give a direct link include
ImgBB,
postimages.org, and
Cloudinary.
A geocaching.com image link works too. The link must start with https://.
Keep your cache in play to keep it live. Share the play link so people visit it; unused caches are cleaned up over time.
