KenKen Cache Builder

Make your own KenKen puzzle geocache with a sharable play link.

KenKen (also called Mathdoku or Calcudoku) is a number puzzle. Fill the grid so every row and column holds each number once, and every outlined cage hits its little arithmetic clue. Solving the grid reveals your final coordinates or keyword. A brand new, uniquely solvable puzzle is generated on the server for every player and every load, so nothing is hidden in the page to peek at and no two players can share a solution, only the keyword. Players choose the grid size you allow, from 4 by 4 up to 7 by 7.

Anything you create here is public to anyone with the link, and you are responsible for what you publish. Keep a copy of your edit key, it is the only way to change or delete your puzzle later.

Your puzzle

Shown to players as a link to your cache page.

Only the site admin can see this, in case they need to reach you about your cache. Never shown to players.

Grid sizes players can pick

Bigger grids are harder. Set both to the same size to lock one difficulty, or keep a range so players choose.

On solve, reveal

Shown only after a player solves the grid. Reveal either the final coordinates or a keyword, not both.

Where can I host an image for free?

Paste a direct https:// link to an image. Free image hosts that give a direct link include ImgBB, postimages.org, and Cloudinary. A geocaching.com image link works too. The link must start with https://.

Keep your cache in play to keep it live. Share the play link so people visit it; unused caches are cleaned up over time.
