Cross Wordle hands a player a tray of loose letter tiles and an empty board. They place every tile so the whole thing joins up into one crossword: each run of two or more letters, across or down, has to be a real word, nothing may be left in the tray, and no tile may sit off on its own. There is no guess limit. When a player submits a grid that passes, your final coordinates or keyword are revealed. The answer stays on the server, so nothing is hidden in the page for a player to peek at.

The tiles
How many grids a player may submit each day. Using them all locks them out until the next day, so three or more is kinder.
At 3, two tiles sitting side by side count as a two letter word and fail, so nothing can be parked next to something else. Three is the usual choice.
We lay your words out as a crossword, crossing them where they share letters, and the tiles in that crossword become the tray. Because crossing letters are shared, the tray ends up smaller than your words added together. If your words cannot be crossed into one grid we will say so instead of publishing a puzzle nobody can finish.
Surprise me picks a tray we have already solved once ourselves, so it is guaranteed to work out. We keep the tray and throw the solution away, so nobody has the answer, us included.

Where can I host an image for free?
Paste a direct https:// link to an image. Free image hosts that give a direct link include
ImgBB,
postimages.org, and
Cloudinary.
A geocaching.com image link works too. The link must start with https://.
Keep your cache in play to keep it live. Share the play link so people visit it; unused caches are cleaned up over time.
