Chain Reaction is a word-chain puzzle. You pick 6 to 8 words where every neighboring pair makes a compound word or a common phrase, like SESAME to STREET to CAR to POOL to TABLE to TENNIS to BALL. Players are given the first and last words plus one letter of each hidden word, and they may only guess a word next to one they have already solved. Wrong guesses cost a heart and give away another letter. Linking the whole chain reveals your final coordinates or keyword. The chain and the final answer stay on the server, so nothing is hidden in the page for a player to peek at.

Your puzzle
Shown to players as a link to your cache page.
Only the site admin can see this, in case they need to reach you about your cache. Never shown to players.
Your chain
6 to 8 words, 3 to 10 letters each, no repeats. Every neighboring pair should make a compound word or a familiar phrase. Players see the first and last words; the rest are hidden. "Surprise me" fills in a ready-made chain that you can still edit.
Difficulty
3 to 10 wrong guesses allowed across the whole chain. Players can start over after running out.
On solve, reveal
Shown only after a player links the whole chain. Reveal either the final coordinates or a keyword, not both.
Where can I host an image for free?
Paste a direct https:// link to an image. Free image hosts that give a direct link include
ImgBB,
postimages.org, and
Cloudinary.
A geocaching.com image link works too. The link must start with https://.
Keep your cache in play to keep it live. Share the play link so people visit it; unused caches are cleaned up over time.
