GoldBug Code

The GoldBug code included in a short story by Edgar Allan Poe published in 1843 called The Gold-Bug. It tells the tail of William Legrand and how he was bitten by a gold-colored bug. The story includes the cipher and a description of how to solve simple substitution ciphers. The GoldBug alphabet is as follows:
